This pattern was the one that started it all, back when I made the Toddler Blazer. The Basic Blazer honors the Toddler Blazer while vastly improving upon it. And now it's leading the pack again as my first paper pattern. Blank Slate Paper Patterns are all printed on 20 lb. bond paper (none of that fussy tissue stuff!) and include 12 page color instruction booklets.

For fabrics with a nap or directional pattern (such as corduroy or stripes), add 1/2 yd.
For a contrasting lapel (as pictured on cover) buy 1/2 yd (44/45”) or 1/3 yd (58/60”) of contrast fabric in addition to main fabric and lining.
